How long does the service last?

Our food catering service last a maximum 3 hours (service time includes setup & pack up). Extra hours are charged $150 per hour.Weddings need to provide us with a timeline. We recommended to plan speeches away from the serving time (as it might delay the serving) and packing time (as we might make a bit of noise while packing). We need to access the area about 1.5 to 2 hours before serving time. We will be serving the paella for maximum 1 hour once it is ready; after that if there are any leftovers, we will make some take away containers for you to keep. The paella must be served once ready, if we have to warm the paella up too many times the rice loses its consistency, and it might affect the quality of the food. Therefore Serving times cannot be changed after the confirmation. After serving time finishes, we start packing. Please note we do not lend or leave our equipment after service.

How is paella served?

We use biodegradable serving containers and wooden forks. The customer must provide extra bowls, forks, napkins and rubbish bins to dispose of the used packaging. We do not provide rubbish bins nor take any rubbish back with us. We just provide crockery for the amount of people we are catering for.Allow extra portions for staff members present in the locations ( dj, photographers, bartenders, band)

What do we need in terms of space and location?

• Access to arrive with our Spanish Casa van, transport and unload our equipment (E.g.: a clear driveway or road)
If the process to remove the cars from the driveway take extra time, the serving time should take extra time as well.
• Minimum of 2x3mt of space for the set-up of our kitchen.
• A space sheltered from the wind and rain to cook
• Some ambient lighting or a plug nearby to set up a light or two (provided by customer or venue)
• Access hot water (E.g. A tap in the kitchen).
• If these requirements are not sufficient or we deem the location unsafe (too crowded, too windy) we will suggest moving locations.
o We can bring a marquee if necessary, for larger catering for an extra $100.
o We can set up and cook paellas on terraces, balconies and rooftops, but we charge an extra $ 50 as the setup process is longer.
We do not do location checks prior to the event day but are able to give you confirmation that everything will fit provided with the right information. If you are unsure if the area you have meets these requirements, please check with us about the access and the size of the location. We can check the location through Google Maps or you can send us some photos.

What do we do with leftovers?

We will be serving the paella for maximum 1 hour once it is ready.
After that if there are any left overs, we will make some take away containers for you to keep.

When do I need to pay the balance?

The balance must be paid one week before the event, at the time to confirm final guest numbers.

If the invoice is not paid 72 hours before your event, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit paid is not refundable.

If there is a modification to the numbers, we will send you a new invoice minus your deposit, with the total outstanding.

How can I book paella catering in Perth/WA?

Once you approve the quote, we will send you the invoice. Please check if the information on the invoice is correct including the time for serving the paella.

Serving time on the invoice means the time you have chosen to start serving your guests food to eat. It is very important to agree on the serving time at the moment of your booking, no changes can be made with short notice.

The booking deposit is 50% of the total and once the deposit is paid, your date is locked in. We ask to send us the receipt of your deposit or screenshot for our records.

All deposits need to be paid within 48 hours of the receiving the invoice. If your deposit is not received, your booking is not confirmed.
